Hello all my little imps!!

How are you? I hope you are doing mighty fine and terrific. I have two important issues to announce right now that can't wait:

1) Next week, around wednesday, the single DIRTY LITTLE LIAR will be for sale in all the digital platforms worldwide (Amazon, iTunes, and so on..). That´s the moment when I would dare to ask you for help and buy the song because, that´s the moment when we can make it real big!! I hope you're with me then, that´s a very delicate and important moment of every single. Thank you so much!!

2) Next december the 12th, I will release another single called IT´S ALL SO NEW. You can see the single cover here and this is another surprise that I had ready for all of you. It´s a very personal song written out of love. Being in love. For the ones that we're in love with and for the one that we all want to spend the rest of our lives with. The one that makes every moment count and .. oh well.. you know I am speaking upon experience. It´s a ballad, not full of high notes, instead of that, you will find a very low key me with a very soft and calm vibe. I hope you like it because I cannot wait to see if you like it.

Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. I´m so emotional about it right now, please forgive me, but this is one of my dreams coming true right now. I´ve always wanted to shoot a video like this, with a song like this one, with these special effects and with such and amazing team. Right after the break... ¡Surprises!

Hi everybody!!!

First and foremost, I hope you all are doing mighty fine and I also hope you can forgive me for having been a little bit out of service during the past weeks. Even though I have the well-worn argumen “I have been extremely busy” and, what’s more, it´s true, I have to say this: I´M SORRY!.

During the next months we will be giving out new surprises like, for instance, the release of my new single “Dirty Little Liar” that will also come out with its official video. The main idea for the video was originally mine and it all has come true thanks to the talent of Raúl Mata (Rewind Music Video), my colleague and friend, Jake and, among some others, the breathtakingly beautiful talented Gemma Gimenez.

The video is based on a certain moment of my childhood in which I used to spend all my weekly assignment in videogames. I used to be really, really hooked on “Street Fighter II” and, because of that, I didn’t want to miss the chance to pay a little tribute to such videogame, to Chun-Li (Gemma) and to Ryu (Ryk).

Gemma beats me up in the video, I didn’t want it any other way because, as a gentleman, I would never hit a girl (well.. not by the way!! LOL). It shows a selfish, based-in-lies relationship that, I bet my neck, most of us have ever been through. The typical situation in which the other party relies on the fact that you’re always going to be there for them until the day when they find themselves alone and, what’s more, knowing they deserved such ending to their story. Jake plays the shrink, I love his part, he’s awesome!

I like expressing feelings and basing on my personal experiences when releasing songs and videos. It all falls down was so deep and 2000% self-related. Help me, even though it is a cover and I don’t sell it, means a lot to me as well. Gimme your love was recorded and shot to try to save my former personal relationship and, even though it didn’t save it entirely, it reached new friends and fans all over the world like the ones that I heartly love in China. I am super thankful for them as well as for the rest of the friends that contact me because of my music. It feels great when one sings from the heart and reaches people.

I will release more stuff soon but I ain’t still scheduled well so that I can focus on Ryk (I needed to focus on ME, Ricardo) and, even though I have the will, I don’t have the time but, oh well, I will make it. Thanks for staying beside me, you don’t know how much it means to me.

The only favor that I would dare to ask is if you could please help me making this new song and video reach as many people as possible and make all the effort of us worth, because we have been working REALLY hard to get here and it makes no sense without you all.

After having taken a short break to recover (something that I was in a real big need of), we are pleased to annouce our (my) comeback in a few days with new single, new video, new me, new featurings (Gemma Gimenez, great actress and breathtaking woman) and with the hopes of this becoming something big!!

MY BIRTHDAY + PRESENT FOR GRABS UP!!

Thank you so much to all of you who, somehow, showed me your love and support last September the first during my 31st birthday. This picture is me looking fat and happy because I was about to start eating one of my birthday presents: a chocolate train!! You don't wanna hear how GREAT it was. I have the best friends ever, thank you guys!!

I am not old enough to start lying to the media about my age and telling them I´m truly 24, either way they wouldn’t believe shit!! LOL

It´s been a rough year for me but now it’s about time that the good stuff comes up. Thank you again for staying by my side.

The video of Dirty Little Liar remains in process. We cannot give out a date so far but, believe me when I say that the wait will be worth.

First shots of my new video!

I´m extra happy and super hyped about this. This is the best news I have been given today. Raúl Mata (Rewind Music Video) has just pasted all the files of the shooting of my video and told me that, after having taking a loooong view of them all, he believes the stuff is way too good to be true and told me the final result is going to be absolutely breathtaking! I can't wait!!!

Thank you Raúl for taking care of me, it means a lot!!

DIRTY LITTLE LIAR: THE VIDEO.

Hi every body, how are you all doing?? I hope GREAT! 

After having taken some days off, I am back to the junk to resume what I left backlogged due to this summer. As I already annouced, these months are going to be full of surprises, and this is one of them. My next video and single: "Dirty Little Liar". Let me break it down for y'all:

THE SONG

Well, Jake originally wrote the song for another singer, a girl who would record it for her album but she finally couldn't sing it and, since I liked it from the very first time I heard it in the studio and it fitted perfectly my tone, I asked him not to discard the song and let me sing it. After so much whining (he didnt want me to do it, hehe) I finally got the song. I believe he did it just to stop listening me begging like "Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake...!!" hehehe. We just needed an hour to record the voices and it took place about a year ago.

 THE CONCEPT OF THE VIDEO

     For me, "Dirty Little Liar” represents what could be considered as the sequel of "Gimme your love". The first one talks about someone asking for love and forgiveness. The second one is about the same person realising that all the begging was not worth because the other one was a liar. This time the video has nothing to do with my personal life the way GYL did. This time there will be no more smiley Ryks nor good intentions.. let's see how I can play the bad Ryk. The video has already been shooted and I did my best, I hope you all like the result!!

DIRECTOR

     It couldn't be any other way, RAÚL MATA (REWIND MUSIC VIDEO). I´m a huge fan of his work, Raúl Mata is a really truly talented director and working with him stands for having fun and getting incredible results. You will see!! 

THE CAST:

·         Jake: He had to come up in the video, even though it´s just a little cameo in the beggining but oh well. The song is his. I love his work and talent. We've been working together for years and it was about time that he appeared in some video of mine and, something unexpected, he acts amazingly!! 

    Gemma Gimenez: This incredibly beautiful woman, great actress, media monster and terrific human being is a prime time spanish star that has starred a lot of movies, soap operas and theatrical works. She can be the most lovely girl on earth and turn into a real slut in a second and that's was I was looking for in the video: a psycho girlfriend. It´s an honor for me to have her on my video. Thank you so much Gemma, I had a ball working with you!!!!

Not too long ago, I announced here a contest in which, among all the ones who sent me a mail with “Missing you” on its subject and told me a story about themselves missing someone in their life, I would give out the original copy of the lyrics for “Missing you” signed by me.

I received a bunch of mails and read them all but there was one that deeply shocked me. A story about a girl whose life got literally obliterrated and got submerged in a huge depression. Against all odds, she managed to get over it and is finally smiling from her heart. Something that really impressed me.

I sent her a mail telling her that the price was hers and also asked her to take a pic with the paper and send it to me. Not only she accepted my request but she also dedicated these kind words to me.

OMG, who would have said that, after so long having my head trimmed, I would let my hair grow this long!! I am living in a moment of constant changes. I have gotten rid of all the people who only bring negativity to my life. My body’s changed, I have lost weight, gone thru rehab, changed my image, my hairstyle, my glasses.. I couldn’t remember when was the last time I got a minute to myself.. I almost didn’t know me!!! After all these years submerged in this huge depression I am finally shining light!!!

I´m currently inthe process of writing scripts and working on the next video & single with Raúl Mata (Rewind Music Video). The song will be “Dirty Little Liar”. You have one minute of the song at your disposal in my youtube channel (www.youtube.com/raiktv) but I am sorry to inform you that we all will have to wait until September to watch  it and listen to it entirely. My birthday is due to take place next September the first so, since the song will be released around those dates, I can’t think of a better bday present than getting a #1 in the charts. Who’s down with me?? J thank you for your help and love in advance!.

There will be more surprises related to the video that I still cant reveal but I will say that I am super hyped about it because it´s the first time ever in my life in which I do some acting for a video with an Spanish tv actress that I admire a lot. We’ve been rehearsing a couple of days and it´s been loads of fun. I will be giving out more information about it soon. Don’t worry.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to stop here, say hi and, besides wishing you all a great summer, I wanted to let you know that, sooner than later, I will be having news to share with you all like, for instance, a video interview with the people from Cover Set due to the fact that I won, thanks to all of your votes, their Cover Set 2012's Artist of the year contest . (Thank you so much!!!)

I am going to do my best in order to make your effort and your wait worth and give you my best with every tiny peewee stuff I do.You know I put my heart in everything!

At least, this time..

I´ve always been a rather atypical singer. I only sing stuff if I mean it, if it makes sense for me and, most importantly, if my heart wants to sing it. I know it may sound cheesy but that´s the way I roll.

Due to several personal circumstances I wrote this song like years ago while going thru a hard moment in my life in order to try to cheer a girl and me up. I used to play it in my iPod everytime I felt like those problems started overwhelming me and I needed to get out of my reality for a while, walk throughout the streets of Madrid solely thinking of positive stuff not to lose my cool.

Thanks God, it helped me out.

Right now I´m going through another rough journey in my life, personal wise, and it´s so hard to handle that I decided to get back to this song and put an end to months of not doing anything but whining and complaining. It was about time that I decided to start over and here I am.

The songtitle in spanish is "Por esta vez" which stands for "At least, this time". I hope you like the song even if it´s in spanish. If anyone needs a translation, please contact me (ryk@rykspage.com) and let's see how we can do it.
