I´ve always been a rather atypical singer. I only sing stuff if I mean it, if it makes sense for me and, most importantly, if my heart wants to sing it. I know it may sound cheesy but that´s the way I roll.
Due to several personal circumstances I wrote this song like years ago while going thru a hard moment in my life in order to try to cheer a girl and me up. I used to play it in my iPod everytime I felt like those problems started overwhelming me and I needed to get out of my reality for a while, walk throughout the streets of Madrid solely thinking of positive stuff not to lose my cool.
Thanks God, it helped me out.
Right now I´m going through another rough journey in my life, personal wise, and it´s so hard to handle that I decided to get back to this song and put an end to months of not doing anything but whining and complaining. It was about time that I decided to start over and here I am.
The songtitle in spanish is "Por esta vez" which stands for "At least, this time". I hope you like the song even if it´s in spanish. If anyone needs a translation, please contact me (ryk@rykspage.com) and let's see how we can do it.
